Hey all,
so...my original install discs that came with my powerbook are the version 10.3.4...and I need to get back to that version to work out the bugs I'm having with PT 6.4. (I didn't know that upgrading to 10.3.5 and then recently to 10.3.6 would give me so many problems.)
Can anyone walk me throught this re-install process? I don't want to lose any data obviously. should I back up my WHOLE hard-drive to my Firewire drive?
Any guidance would be great...

Winston,
I would back up all my data files onto my external drive and re-install 10.3.4 from scratch. Not sure if there's a downgrade option with OSX, but I wouldn't trust it. I just rebuilt my system from scratch and it didn't take all that long. My powerbook is dedicated to PT's so I didn't have to load a lot of other applications. The only pain is re-authorizing plug-ins. It took three tries to get Autotune re-authorized!

thanks for the tips Lynn:)
Isn't there some sort of install that can be done without affecting data? I think there's a name for it??
