a dedicated A/D converter will be a ton better than the ones that come with the 002.
also take a look at the Benchmark Media products (www.benchmarkmedia.com). I've heard really good things about them working with the 002.

bennychico11 and Board Let me give you my studio run down and let me know what u think a GREAT setup will be... Digi002r Software Synth computer with a 1212m soundcard Podxt pro MPC 4000 Avalon Pre Digital Mixer(roland rm1000 spdif line mixer)..LOVE IT I was thinking a Big Ben wordclock to the digtal mixer, the rosetta200,& the 1212m... The 1212m soundcard lightpipe, Avalon Pre (analog) roland digital mixer in the rosetta200 Rosetta spdif out to the Digi002 And the MPC outs(all 8) into the Digi002 analog... My wish is to stay in the digital domain and i'm thinkin this would be a great setup..any advice or better ideas would be great!!!

I didn't vote since I don't know much about the Rosetta, but it does suck that there's no BNC clock input on the Digi002. I can sync to the ADAT IN or the SPDIF, but what if I use both at the same time? I would need to get my ADAT device and SPDIF device synced somehow right? Cool setup by the way
